Warren Erwin

Mr. Warren “Grandpop” Erwin, 63, of Dalton, died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at his residence.
He was the son of the late, Robert and Frances Reynolds Erwin.
Warren was a 1962 Dalton High School graduate, where he was a pitcher for the Dalton Catamount baseball team and in 1960 they were state runner-up; he was a loyal supporter and coach to many young children, especially his grandchildren.
Warren is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda Robertson Erwin of Dalton; Sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Melanie Erwin, Ross and Beth Erwin all of Dalton; grandchildren, John Warren Erwin, Mary Faith Erwin, Will Erwin and Wyatt Erwin; brother and sister-in-law, David and Sue Erwin of Calhoun; nieces also survive.
Services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. J. R. Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 7 P. M.
The family request flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
