Alma Jean Gulledge Sloane

Mrs. Alma Gulledge Sloane, 79, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home on Beaverdale Road.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Tine Hammontree Gulledge and was preceded in death by husband, Thomas W. Sloane, brothers and sisters, Frank Gulledge, Lucille Manis, Irene Brackett, Chesalee Gulledge, John Austin Gulledge and Charlie Gulledge.
Alma is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Sloane and Eric Sloane; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Terry Allen, Qudie Cline, Selina and Mike Cowan and Lora Herriman all of Dalton.
Sisters, and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Don Palmer and Eula Mae and Robert Petty all of Dalton.
Grandchildren, David “D.T.” Sloane, Victoria Allen, Olivia Allen, Chelsey Cline, Logan Cline, Zachary Lama, Hunter Lama, Brooke Grant, Hollie Cash, Nathan Herriman and Andrew Herriman: 5 great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.
