Christine Bennett

Mrs. Christine Walker Bennett, 78, of Dalton passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Will and Ethel Greeson Walker and was preceded in death by her husband, James Bennett; son, Bruce Bennett; sisters, DeeEtte Kendrick, Elizabeth Legg and Dot Ownbey; brother, Clyde Walker; sisters-in-law, Helen Richardson and Irene Walker; brothers-in-law, Gerald Ownbey, Fred Davis, Cal Rahn, Vince Legg and Nick Carr.
Christine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jeff Riddlebarger of Cohutta; granddaughter, Haley Riddlebarger; grandson, Austin Riddlebarger; sisters Bonnie Davis of Chatsworth, Sue Carr of Dalton, Billy Rahn of Cypress CA; brothers-in-law, John Kendrick of Rocky Face, Lafayette Richardson of Dalton; neices and nephews also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M..
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 897 Poplar Springs Rd., Dalton GA, 30720.
Pallbearers will be Freddy Ownbey, Eddie Ownbey, Scottie Ownbey, Tim Davis, Steve Davis and Darell Walker.
