Mrs. Gladys Virginia Steele Taylor, 91, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday August 8, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, William and Hester Hulgan Steele and was preceded in death by her husband Frank Taylor, Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Noblitt, Jewel Gilbert, Aura Mae Williams, Berlie Smith and Bonnie Phillips; brothers James Steele and Robert Steele.
Gladys was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Barbara and Steve Mckenzie, Frank and Margaret Taylor, David Taylor and Debra and Greg Fowler all of Dalton; grandchildren, Mark McKenzie, Stephanie (Lee) Lewis, Dania (Bill) Boyett, Rob Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Austin Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Jennifer Balhoff, and Zach Fowler; great-grandchildren, Daniel Lewis, Rebecca Lewis, Taylor Kate Boyett and Samuel Boyett;
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Regency Park Health Care for their love and care for Gladys.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Walker officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Dug Gap Baptist Church Building Fund, 2031 Dug Gap Rd., Dalton GA 30720.
