Arva Nell Davis

Mrs. Arva Nell Parker Davis, affectionately know as "Momma Nell“, 90, of Dalton, passed away Monday August 27, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, Luther and Suzie Pharr Parker and was preceded in death by her husband Quinton Andrew Davis; daughter Linda N. Carroll and her bothers and sisters.
Momma Nell was of the Baptist Faith, she loved to cook and was known for her Pecan Pies.
She is survived by her children, Gerald Q. Davis of Dalton, Susan K. Welch of Chatsworth, Debra Davis Shaffner of Atlanta and Donna L. Davis of Dalton; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; many many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M.
Private burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
