Mary Nell Hope

Mrs. Mary Nell Hope, 82, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Joseph “L.J.” Hope; parents, E.T. and Martha Chandler Pratt; the father of her daughters, Charles Baxter Duncan; brothers, Isom Pratt, E.T. Pratt, Otto Pratt, Everett Pratt and Benny Dean Pratt; sisters, Nora Pratt, Dora Pratt Duke, and Mildred Pratt.
Mary was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a graduate of Dawnville High School class of 1947. She retired from Crutchfield’s Furniture in 2010.
Mary is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Timmy Gazaway of Dalton, Vickie and Philip Bohannon of Statesboro, GA.; grandchildren, Bridgette and Adam Anderson, Jeff and Gena Gazaway, Dylan Gazaway, John Bohannon, Jessica Bohannon and Jamie Bohannon; great-grandchildren, Skylar Gazaway, Jordi Gazaway, Gavin Anderson, Kinzlee Hope Anderson and Maci Gazaway; neices and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Boyd and the Rev. Danny Gazaway officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m..
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery with John Bohannon, Jeff Gazaway, Dylan Gazaway, Adam Anderson, Mitchell Bohler and Clay Harden serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made in her memory to The Alzheimers Association, 922 E. Morris St., Dalton, Ga. 30720.
