James Ellis

Mr. James “Bo” Ellis, 59, of Dalton, passed away, Saturday November 3, 2007 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Coleman and Viola Watts Ellis and was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Ellis and Billy Ellis.
“Bo” is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mary Broom Ellis of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Melisa and Paul Shipman, Michelle Gilbert all of Dalton; grandchildren, Tyler Shipman, Grace Shipman, Kaily Gilbert, and Emma Gilbert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesse and Brenda Ellis of SC., Dana and Debbie Ellis of Conyers, GA., Gene and Juanita Ellis of Dahlonega,; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bobby Wilkerson of FL.; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Henry and Charlotte Burchfield of Dalton, Harold Arnold of KY., Tommy and Jennifer Dixon of Dalton, C. D. Broom of Ohio; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Earlene and John Higgins of Dalton, Jo Young of KY., Martha and Tom Jones of KY; special friend, Buddy Frye of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
