Ruby Strickland Wooten

Mrs. Ruby Strickland Wooten, 84, of Dalton, passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2007 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vernon Wooten, Sr., and a son, Robert “Bud” Wooten, Jr.; sister, Beatrice Penson; brothers, Raymond Strickland, J. C. Strickland, Woodrow Strickland and William Tucker.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Janie and Junior Townsend, Carolyn Nelson and Faye Wooten all of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Barbara Wooten of Dalton; sister, Ella Mae Strickland of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Anita Hun, Jimmy Bryson, Michael Tyree and Mark Wooten; great-grandchildren, Brooke Bryson, Blake Mooney and Scott Prather; nieces and nephews; special friends, Curtis and Leslie Coggins of Dalton.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brownlee officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 9 P. M.
