Emily Whaley

Mrs. Emily Brown Whaley, 90, of Dalton passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Whaley in 2010; grandson, Ryan Acree; sisters, Melba Posten, Faye Overton and Velma Chastain; brothers, Otis Brown, Carl Brown and J. M. Brown.
Emily is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and David Fowler and Debbie and Doug Acree all of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Monica Whaley of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Ila and James Moss of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jerry Fowler, Kim Heard, Mallory Whaley, Danielle Ezell and Tara Miller; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Staten officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 7 P.M.
