Hazel Jane Stanley

Mrs. Hazel Jane Stanley, 92, of Dalton, passed from this life, Monday, December 10, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Stanley had several years of declining health, but was able to live at home and was taken care of by her children and her niece, Shirley Brindle. She was the daughter of the late, Harris and Ada Stanley and was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Vester Stanley; brother, Everette Stanley; sisters, Monie Stanley, Myrtle Weaver and Eula Weaver; sons-in-law, Lendol Russell, James Gibson and a daughter in-law, Celia Stanley.
Mrs. Stanley was a Christian wife and mother. She was a very loyal person, a peacemaker, and always wanted harmony with others.
She is survived by her son, Eugene Stanley; daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Warner Holloway, Verna Lee and Leon Couch, Wilma Gibson, Glenda and Bill Cornutt, Lavelle and Porter Marcus; grandchildren, Pam Holloway, Kevin Stanley, Mark Stanley, Russell Stanley, Bruce Holloway, Jane King, Sonya Mueller, Douglas Couch, Kerry Couch, Vickie Carroll, Deborah Winters, Donna Peters, Aleah Bryson, Noel Russell, Stan Russell, Scott Marcus and Chris Marcus. 32 great-grandchildren and
5 great-great-grandchildren. nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at noon in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Ronnie Missildine, Ross Jordan and her grandsons, Douglas Couch and Chris Marcus officiating. Burial will follow in Stanley Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to
9 P.M.
