Elizabeth Mahoney

Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Trotter Mahoney, 98, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Mahoney; son, Jimmy Mahoney and son-in-law, J. Randell Hammontree.
She was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church since 1953 and always worked with the nursery age children.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Anne Mahoney Hammontree; daughter-in-law, Pheliece Mahoney; grandchildren, Kerri and Randy Curtis of Murfreesboro, TN., Kim Hammontree of Marietta, GA., Mark and Melanie Hammontree of Murfreesboro, Mike and Kelley Mahoney of Rocky Face, Pat and Erica Mahoney of Scottsdale, AZ., Jeff and Katie Mahoney of Rome, GA.; great-grandchildren, Brittany Mimms, Savannah Hammontree, Caleb and Candace Mahoney, Hannah Mahoney, Grace Mahoney, Luke Mahoney, Leah Clement and Kaitlind Clement; sister, Kathleen Franklin of Knoxville, TN.
The family would like to thank Regency Park and staff for their love and care for Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Trammell Campbell and the Rev. Mike Mahoney officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from noon to 2 P.M.
