Mary Ruth Arnold

Mrs. Mary Ruth Woods Arnold, 89, of Rocky Face, went to be with her Lord and Creator on Monday, December 17, 2007.
She was the loving wife of the late, Clarence Arnold and was preceded in death by her son, Charles Arnold and brothers and sisters. Mrs. Arnold was a long time member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Leonard Smith of Rocky Face; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Bobbie Arnold of Ringgold; daughter-in-law, Sandra Arnold of Rocky Face; brother, Henry Wood of Atlanta; grandchildren, Cindy Carroll, Donna Jones, Chuck Arnold, Scott Smith, Christine Powell, Nathaniel Arnold, and Rebecca Millott; great-grandchildren, David Burkett, Michael Carroll, Nicholas Carroll, Caroline Wooten, Stephen Jones, Amanda Caraway, Michelle Powell, Joshua Powell, Tucker Arnold, Joshua Millott and Brooklyn Millott; great-great-grandchildren, Erin Wooten, Landon Wooten and Gage Caraway; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 1 P.M. from Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey Boyd, the Rev. George Ross, the Rev. Jim Brinkley and the Rev. Hershel Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons, Chuck Arnold, Scott Smith, Nathaniel Arnold and grandsons-in-law, Danny Powell, Donald Jones and John Carroll serving as pallbearers and her Sunday School Class will be honorary Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 to 9
