Mrs. Vivian Crider Harris Martin,84, of Dalton, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys Roberson Crider and was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Harris and Berry Martin; daughter, Mary Cathel Harris; brother, Edgar Lee Crider; sister Betty Ruth Crider Craig. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother and loved working in her flowers. Vivian was a member of Center Valley United Methodist Church.
Vivian is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Robby Shook of Adairsville, Donna and Dewayne Collins of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Joe Edwards of Tunnel Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Juanita Crider of Rock Springs; grandchildren, Jeff and Krista Shook of Woodstock, Jeremy and Kim Shook of Cartersville, Kecia and James Hambrick of Chatsworth, Kristen Collins and James Beavers of Chatsworth, and Zachary Collins of Chatsworth; great-grandchildren Justin, William, Breanna, Jake, Nadia, Sally, Sawyer and Logan special sisters-in-law, Vicki Crider of Rocky Face, Drucilla James of Tunnel Hill; brother-in-law, Marshall Craig of East Ridge; aunts, Ruth Epps of Lafayette, Rosie Morrison of Dalton and Stella Crider of Rocky Face; many nieces and nephews and cousins
Services will be Wednesday at noon in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Maria Newsum and the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Welcome Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at love Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m..
