Frances Bartley King

Mrs. Frances Bartley King, 77, of Dalton, passed away, Tuesday , December 25, 2007 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late, Milton and Media Davis Bartley and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ronald E. King in December of 2006; brothers, C. H. Bartley, John Henry Bartley and Harold Bartley.
She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved fishing and was a fisherwoman. She was the Betty Crocker type mother who enjoyed cooking, sewing and caring for everybody.
Frances is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne Sanford of Chatsworth, Kathy and David Young of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Jennifer King of Gainesville, Fl., Kendall and Priscilla King of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandchildren, Lynn Davenport, Ernest Ridley, Joey Young, Derek Young, Kendall and Katie King, Danny King, Dewayne King, David King, Jordan King, Stacey Carpenter, and Kelly Page; great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughters; sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Ridley, Ruth and Rev. Bobby Souther all of Chatsworth; brother and sisters-in-law, James and Rose Bartley, Pauline Bartley, Evvie King all of Dalton and Betty Jean Bartley of Chatsworth; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arnold and Jewell King of Dalton; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at Noon in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Souther officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
