Rebecca Hackney

Mrs. Rebecca Brown Hackney, 64, of Dalton, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late A. D. Brown, Jr. and Ara Elizabeth Brown.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Gary Hackney of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Terrie Lamb of Tallahassee, Fl.; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon E. Lamb and John Batista of Tallahassee, Fl.; brother and sister-in-law, Milton L. and Velma Brown of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Ed Williams of Dalton; grandchildren, Emily Lamb and Sophie Lamb both of Tallahassee, Fl.; step-children, Laura and Steven Cleary, Russell and Miranda Hackney all of Dalton; step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Rhonda Hewitt officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday after 5 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 300 W. Emery St., Suite 106, Dalton, Ga. 30720 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn., 38105.
