The Rev. B. Thomas Zeisig, 76 of Akron, Ohio passed away Dec. 30, 2007 from complications related to Thrombosis. Father Tom Zeisig was born Feb. 3, 1931 in Akron.

Father Zeisig was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Margaret Grace Zeisig, his younger brother Bobby in 1944, and brother and sister-in-law Dick and Rosalie Zeisig. He is survived locally by his favorite nephew and family Rick and Margaret Zeisig and their children Grace and Rowdy .

For over 30 year Father Tom loved coming to his home away from home here in Dalton to enjoy spending time with the southern branch of his family including saying Mass for the parishioners of St. Joseph's Catholic Church on holidays and other memorable occasions.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Eugene Catholic Church. In life, Father Tom Zeisig was loved by his parishioners and all of his family members both north and south of the Mason-Dixon Line. In death, Father Tom will meet his Creator and be reunited with his departed family members.
