Mrs. Margaret Dillard Phipps, 83, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, James and Katherine Hayes Dillard and was preceded in death by her husband Leonard “ Buster” Phipps.
Margaret was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, she was a secretary and Para-Pro at Dawnville Elementary School and also worked for Ruth and Doyles Florist.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debbie Phipps and Jamey and Beth Phipps all of Dalton; grandchildren, Chad, Jay, Hayden and Tanner; special cousin, Myra Johnson and other cousins and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Love funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 W. Emery St., Dalton, GA 30720.
