William Henry Shugart

Mr. William Henry Shugart, 65, of Cohutta, Ga., died Saturday, January 5, 2008.
He was the son of the late, Earl and Mary Shugart and was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Merrie Shugart.
William is survived by his wife, Nancy B. Shugart of Cohutta; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Tony Freeman of Lake Park, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Wes and Sandra Shugart of Brentwood, Tn., John and Beth Shugart of Mt. Berry, Ga.; sister, Mary Earl Matlins of Chatham Township, N.J.; step-children, Tiger and Linda Pitts of Decatur, Ga., Eric and Lynn Pitts of Griffin, Ga., KaCe and Lawrie Sanchez of Rock Springs, Ga.; grandchildren, Merrie Freeman, Krisi Freeman, Dallas Freeman, Cole Shugart, Elizabeth Brooks, Lawrence Sanchez, Colton Sanchez, Emily Pitts, Megan Pitts and Madison Pitts; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. from the Cohutta First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Susan Reggin officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 7 P.M.
