Clinton Edward Burnette

Mr. Clinton Edward Burnette, 73, of Resaca, passed away, Tuesday January 8, 2008 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Fate Edward and Effie Lou Gray Burnette and was preceded in death by the mother of his children, VanDora Burnette; daughter, Susan Burnette; sister, Shirley Hair; grandchildren, Anthony Ciesielski and Ashley Ciesielski; brothers-in-law, Bill Richardson and Jerry Callahan. He was a member if Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Gloria Whitfield Burnette of Resaca; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Joyce Burnette of Dalton, Scott and Tonya Burnette of Calhoun; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Greg Ciesielski of North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Burnette of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ed Eller of Dalton, Sue Callahan of Jasper, GA., and Maribelle Richardson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alice and Bobby Ray of Calhoun; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy and Karen Whitfield of Dalton, Rickey and Beverly Whitfield of Adairsville, Mike and Diane Woodward, Tim and Lynn Wilson and Jeff Whitfield all of Calhoun; step-sons, Chad Bell, Stacy Bell and Doug Bell all of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jason and Brianna Burnette, Heather and Russell Thomas, Ryan Burnette, Julie Burnette, Tyler Bell, Kim Bell and Hannah Bell; great-grandchild Will Thomas; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jacky Waits officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery with Mark Thornbrough, Randy Myers, Andy Burnette, Mike Woodward, Marty Callahan and Michael Callahan serving as Pallbearers. Billy Erwin, Atnas Pate, A. G. Clearly, Julian Holcomb, Terry Jones, J. D. Smith, James Osborne, Jimmy Brown, Tony Bramblett, L. H. Underwood, Robert McFalls, Billy Kay, Buddy Fox and Duke Campbell serving as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.
