Shirley Walters

Mrs. Shirley Stone Walters, 73, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday evening, November 6,
2012 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Troy and Ruby Potts Stone and was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Stone.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John A Walters of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Shannon Walters of Cohutta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Tony Tucker of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Troy Lee and Frances Stone of Dalton; grandchildren, Hayley, Sadie, Shelby, John Kenneth and Anna; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Hamm and Rev. Jeff Hamm officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be made to the Valley Baptist Church, 2907 Old Rome Road, Dalton, GA 30721.
