Margie "Joey" Callahan

Mrs. Margie Ellaree “Joey” Callahan,79, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Alonzo Dean and Hattie Iowa Dean, brothers, Bradley Dean, Carl Dean, Henry Dean, Troy Dean and Walter Dean, sisters, Ada Dean Dunn, Bonnie Dean Pierce and Gladys Dean Keith.
Joey is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clyde Callahan of Dalton, daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Callahan Smith and Henry of Dalton, Robin Callahan Staton and Jess of Dalton and son and daughter-in-law, Dean Callahan and Pam of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Jan Staton Jones, Nicole Staton Beard and Scott, Brandy Smith Swilling and Chris, Tracy Smith Metcalf and Greg, Zach Callahan and his mother Jolane Mitchell, great-grandchildren, Anna Kate Beard, Trevor Beard, Emilie Smith, Megan Swilling and Shelly Jones; nieces, nephews and special friend, Flossie Ball of Dalton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
