Mrs. Ada Brown Bennett House, 79, of Dalton, GA. and formerly of Gainesville, GA., died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, John W. and Faye W. Brown and was preceded in death by her brother, William C. Brown; sister, Lucy B. Sammons and her nephew, Tim Rail all of Gainesville.
Ada is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Teresa Bennett of Dalton; grandchildren, Cole and Lindsay Bennett of Birmingham, AL. and Ethan Bennett of Dalton; brother, Harry Brown of Dahlonega, GA.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Hugh K. Turk, Evelyn and Harold Martin, Elaine and Jimmy Barnes and Pat Rail all of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Sylvia Brown of Gainesville; life-long friend, Hazel Mosley of Jasper, GA. and all her family at Peachtree Estates; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Ada’s family would like to say Thank-You to all the nurses at Hamilton Medical Center and Hamilton Hospice.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 A. M. in the chapel of Mason, Ward Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA., with the Rev. Clack Stubbs and the Rev. Stacy Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Mason, Ward Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 to 7 P. M.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Pat Rail, 3680 Lamplighter Cove, Gainesville,GA. 30504.
