Clida Jones Wilson

Mrs. Clida Jones Wilson, 94, of Dalton, passed away, Saturday, January, 26, 2008 at her residence.
She was the son of the late, Carlquit and Ella Rape Jones and was preceded in death by her husband William Lester Wilson, SR.; daughter, Elizabeth “Tootise” Tipton; sons, Jessie Wilson and Jimmy Wilson. Clida was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Jackie Earwood, Vivian White, Emma Lee and Hubert Langley all of Dalton; son, William L. Wilson, Jr.; 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.and her loving church family.
Service will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Trey Starnes and the Rev. Denny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday after 5 P.M.
