Martha Amos

Mrs. Martha Ruth Tanksley Amos, 62, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday December 12, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late, Ruth and Henry Tanksley and was preceded in death by her daughter Angelia Renee King; sisters, Catherine Morgan and Lorene Sneed.
Martha is survived by her son, Patton King; granddaughter, Erin King ; grandson Ethan King all of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Earl DeFoor of Dalton and Leona and Bob Cornelison of Murfreesboro, TN; Novella Amos of Crossville, Tn, Lois Watkins of Dalton and Willa Mae Yaun of Arlington, TX; special niece Tammie Minchew and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday from Salem Baptist Church with Earl DeFoor and Jackie Chasteen officiating.
