Mrs. Susan Teem Cox, 73, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 at her sons residence.
She was the daughter of the late, George and Evie Welch Teem and was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Cox, Sr.; brothers, George Teem, Jr. and Jack Teem. She was a member of Whitfield Baptist Church.
Susan is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie E. Cox, Jr and Debra, Danny Ray and Rebecca Cox, Darrell and Eugenia Cox all of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Ernest E. Teem of Michigan, James Hillard and Faye Teem of Chatsworth and Miles “Buster” Teem of Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Mattie and Floyd Dyer of Tunnel Hill; half sisters and husband, Sandy Stockdale and Cindy Hubbard both of Michigan, Jennie and Jim Laws of Tennessee; half brothers, Johnny Teem, Tommy Teem, Edward Teem all of Atlanta, Donald Teem and Freddie Teem both of Florida; grandchildren, Susan and Chad Mullinax, Lacy and Jeremy Evans, Matthew Cox, Josh Cox, Noah Cox and Bryson Cox; great-grandchildren, Shelbi Mullinax, Sydni Mullinax and Cali Clure; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. from Whitfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Cofield and the Rev. Tony Howeth officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home after 5 on Monday and all day on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hamilton Hospice, P.O. Box 1168, Dalton, Ga. 30722-1168.
