Robert L. Raitz

(Dr.) Robert Raitz, 78, passed away at Emory Hospital Friday, February 22, from heart surgery complications. His wife Vivian, lost the love of her life on that day.

Other survivors are son and daughter-in-law Ron and Bridgette Raitz of Marietta; daughter Karen Raitz of Woodstock; son Ken Raitz, of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter and grandson Tiffany and Robert Raitz of Ooltewah, TN; grandson and granddaughter Ryan and Nikki Raitz, of Marietta; special friends Brigitt Yates, Randi and Sydney Raitz; plus numerous siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and loving friends and former patients.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, from 5-8 p.m. in the Dalton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 300 S. Tibbs Rd., Dalton. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the same location, with Pastor Rex Frost officiating, assisted by Jeff White, MD. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Learning Tree School, 300 S. Tibbs Rd., PO Box 1526, Dalton, GA 30722. They will be applied to the Worthy Student Fund.
