Mary Mcgee

Mrs. Mary Goswick McGee, 83, of Chatsworth passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun.
She was the daughter of the late Horace Goswick and Annie Mae Green Goswick and was preceded in death by her husbands, James Willard Nelson, Sr. and Charles McGee; sister, Sara Mae Goswick.
Mary was a member of Faith Worship Center in Chatsworth, was a devout christian woman and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, James Willard Nelson, Jr. of Chatsworth; daughter, Bettie Shoemaker of Dalton; sister/special friend and brother-in-law, Inez and James Mooney, Sr. of Chatsworth; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. John McKenzie and the Rev. Vince Goble officiating.
Burial will follow in Faith Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday from 5 to 9 P.M.
