Edna Faye Vaughn

Mrs. Edna Faye Callahan Vaughn, 82, of Dalton, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Will and Mattie Jones Callahan and was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny “Lard” Vaughn, Sr.; sister, Betty Wear; brothers, Joe Callahan, Billy Callahan, Dixon Callahan, Grady Callahan and “Scrubby” Callahan.
Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Robert Kinsey of Tunnel Hill, Shirley Vaughn of Newport Beach. CA; Kim Vaughn Nance of Dalton and her fiancé Doug Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Lisa Springfield of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Randall “Babe” Callahan of Rocky Face and Johnny and June Callahan of Chatsworth; step-son, Johnny Vaughn, Jr of Dalton; grandchildren, Eric Bryant, Ike (Shanna) Springfield, April Springfield, Presley Nance and Nash Nance; great-granddaughter, Yasmin Bryant; Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from noon til the funeral hour at 2 p.m.
