Mrs. Mary Beth Crawford, 84, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 at Peachtree Memory Care.
She was the daughter of the late, Hiram Columbus “Lum” and Mary Theodocia “Mae” Keith Crawford and was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde Hill Keith, Hiram Dyer Keith, and John Columbus Keith; two nephews, Mitchell Keith and Hill Keith.
Mary Beth was born February 17, 1921 and grew up in the Dawnville community.
She graduated from Dawnville High School in 1938. She married Neal Crawford on July 1, 1961.
Among her employers were Dalton Public Service and Bob Johnston.
As a child, she was a member of Dawnville Methodist Church; as an adult, she was a member of Dalton First United Methodist and Grove Level Baptist Churches. She was also a very active member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Neal Crawford of the residence.
Sister-in-law, Caroline Keith of Atlanta.
Special Cousins, Ruth Bond Morris and Kathleen Keith Perkins both of Rome, and Ellen Keith Thompson of Cohutta.
Other Cousins also survive.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at 2.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
