Walter Deems

Mr. Walter Renay Deems,85, of Barnesville GA., passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Deems, Sr. and Evie Deems; brothers, John Deems and Curtis Deems, Jr; sister, Minnie Gordon.
He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Walter is survived by his wife, Johnnie Deems of Barnesville, GA.; children, Kathy and her husband Johnny Pines, Wanda Lowery, Ricky Deems and Nicky Deems; grandchildren, Elisha Vaughn, Holly McBroom, Jason Pines, Bradly Pines, Stephanie McCrakin, Bryan McCrakin, Tabitha Deems, Amanda Youngblood and Walter Ryan Deems; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ivy Vining.
Services will be Wednesday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Ross Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends Tuesday at Love Funeral Home from 4 til 7 P.M.
