Helen Louise Griffin

Mrs. Helen Louise Stanley Griffin, 70, of Dalton, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Chester Mary Mann Stanley and was preceded in death by her son, Kendal Boyd Baker; sisters, Dimple Jane Stanley, Lealer May Cruise, Cora Lee Croan and Cataruth Stanley; brother, L B. Stanley and a great-grandson Alex Singleton.
Helen loved gardening, shopping at goodwill, sitting of the front porch listening to gospel music and going to the flea market with her baby sister, Bonnie.
She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Most of all she loved her husband of 45 years Larry, with all of her heart. He gave her the nick name Ginger, which she loved to hear.
Ginger is survived by her husband, Lawrence B. “Larry“ Griffin of Dalton; children and their spouses, Timothy Lee and Lorelle Baker of Candler, NC, Carla Quinette Baker and John Bartrug of West Virginia and Tonya Sue and Luon Bass of Gaston, SC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie S. and Gene Hasting of Dalton, Betty S. and Walter Sission of Augusta, GA; brother Rembert W. Stanley of Gastonia, NC; special sister-in-law, Janie Stanley of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Charity Marie and Kevin Willis, Shauna Nicole and Eric Singleton, Robert Andrew Conn II, Kayla Louise Bass, Lawrence Brett Bass, Autumn Dawn, Daniel Phegian and Leah Clara Baker; great-grandchildren, Peyton Conn, James Galloway, Jr., Aiden Singleton and Gabriel Phegian; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Lonnie Harris officiating.
Burial will follow in Beaverdale Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
