Karleen Stinson

Mrs. Karleen Swaim Stinson, 90, of Dalton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
She was born on May 7, 1923 in Etowah, TN, daughter of the late Clay and Rhetta Swaim and was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Stinson and brothers, Wayland, Raymond, and Herman Swaim.
She is survived by her daughter, Gale Wable and husband Sam Wable; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jason Beavers of Rocky Face, Lindsey and Sam Shadburn of Calhoun, and Brett Wable of Dalton; two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Jenna Beavers. She is survived by her sister, Billie Ruth Smith of Ringgold; sisters-in-law, Edna Swaim, Mamie Stinson, and brother-in-law, Calvin Whisenant; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Karleen Swaim Stinson will be Friday at 2:00 P.M at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Hare, the Rev. Ray Cochran and
the Rev. Van Smith officiating.
Internment will be in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 9 P.M.
