Harris Stafford

Mr. Grover Harris Stafford, 58, of Dalton, passed away Friday May 24, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father, George C. Stafford; aunts and uncles, Wylene and Tom Whitener, Jimmie and Bob Shipley, Ora Mae and Cliff Curry; uncles and aunt, Dennis and Lucy Talley and Troy Talley.
Harris was owner and operator of Stafford’s Foodlane on Murray Ave. and loved being in the mountains.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Joshua Burris of Fayetteville, NC; son, Zach Stafford of Atlanta; mother, Doris Harris Stafford Hayes of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Buddy King; brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Sherri Stafford all of Dalton; grandson, Cortland Burris; aunts and uncle, Betty Talley of Dalton and Ed and Margaret Harris of Holly Hill, SC; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Noon Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 til 7 p.m.
