Henry Fowler

Mr. Sam Henry Fowler, 85, of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Arthur Franklin and Georgia Matilda Ballew Fowler and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Evelyn Bryant Fowler; sisters Magalene Welch and Martha Jane Fowler.
Henry was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and was a watch/clock repairman for 60 plus years.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Rick Bradley and Juanita and Troy Hall all of Rocky Face; son, Dennis Fowler of Dalton; sisters, Jessie Mae Bishop and Rosalee Page both of Chatsworth; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Gribble officiating.
Burial will be in Deep Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
