James D. Orr

Mr. James D. “Jim” Orr, 61, of Dalton, died Friday, October 21, 2005 in Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn.
He was the son of the late James C. and Ann Whiteside Orr and was preceded in death by his aunt, Mae Blair.
Jim was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Sherrer Orr of the residence.
Daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Tim Chesser of Ringgold, Krista and Billy Goodman of Tunnel Hill.
Grandchildren, Trevor Goodman, Kai - Lee Ann Goodman, Taitlyn Chesser and Taylor Grace Chesser.
Mother-in-law, Marcie Sherrer of La Grange.
Sister-in-law, Thelia Hood of La Grange.
Brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Rose Sherrer of La Grange.
Niece, Sara Hood
Nephews, Zack Hood, Jason Sherrer and John Sherrer.
Services will be Monday at 3 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Flanagan, and the Rev. Bill Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M.
