Charles Lanara Edwards

Mr. Charles Lanara Edwards, 77, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Edgar Steven and Bessie Mae Perkins Edwards and was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Hinesley Edwards; brothers, Edgar LeRoy Edwards, Lidell Edwards, and Lemmie Edwards.
Lanara was a master woodworker and loved music.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Lisa Edwards of Rocky Face; grandsons, Charlie Edwards and Henry Edwards both of Rocky Face; brothers-in law and sister-in-law, Smith L. and Dianne Ayer and Phillip Hinesley all of Tallahassee, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 10 a. m. until the funeral hour at noon.
