Lorraine Raines

After seven years valiantly fighting ovarian cancer, Lorraine Keith Raines, 61, departed this life on Sunday, July 7th, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Jackson "Jack" Keith, of Dalton, GA. Survivors include: Loving mother, Emma Schneider Keith, and devoted husband of 38 years, Fred Raines, both of Dalton; cherished daughter, Sarah Raines, of New York, NY; brother and sister-in-law Steven and Garah Keith, of Dalton; niece and nephews Clay and Krystle Keith, of Dalton, and Andrew Keith of Boaz, AL; special friends Robert and Darlene Hill of Dalton; and many beloved aunts, cousins, and close family friends. Additionally, the family would like to thank the gifted team members of Chattanooga Gyn-Oncology, Hamilton Hospice, Parkridge Medical Center and Hamilton Medical Center for their tremendous care and contributions.
Throughout her life and courageous battle with cancer, Lorraine served as a true inspiration to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jym Hitte officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
