Elizabeth Shook

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Edwards Shook, 83, of Adairsville and formerly of Dalton passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late William and Ollie Wilson Edwards and was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Charles Shook and brothers, Jimmy Edwards and Clayton Edwards.
Elizabeth loved quilting, flowers, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Teresa Shook of Chatsworth, Sue Fountain of Dalton, Robert and Darlene Shook of Adairsville and Ricky Shook of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Jean Edwards of Tunnel Hill, Bill and Sue Edwards of Dalton, Alton and Anita Edwards of Chickamauga; grandchildren and spouses, Chad and Shelia Shook, Rhonda Eldridge, Jeff and Kristen Shook, Amanda and Allen Sparks, Jeremy and Kim Shook, Patricia and Billy Moreland, Todd and Lacey Ridley, Tiffany and Jerry Clark; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Shook will be Monday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 4 to 9 P.M.
