Claude H. Nix

Mr. Claude H. Nix, 90, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his residence.
He was the son of the late, William Bearden and Etta King Nix and was preceded in death by his bothers, Ray Nix, Tom Nix, Charles Nix and sisters, Dollie Cook and Mildred Keith.
Claude was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Clifton Nix of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Claude Nix, Jr. of Rocky Face, Rodney and Sandi Nix of Dalton and Doug and Etta Nix of Cartersville; brother and sister-in-law, Sherman and Edra Nix of Dalton; sister-in-law, Willa Nix of Dalton; 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday from Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hoyt Jenkins and the Rev. Sonny Moon officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
