Mr. Jack Malone, 77, of Dalton, passed away Friday August 16, 2013 at his residence.
He was the son of the late, William and Hazel Blodgett Malone and was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Malone.
Jack was a veteran of the United States Marines having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Iona Appleby Malone of Dalton; children and their spouses, Pam Neal and Joe Malone both of Ogallala,, NE, Bonnie and Mike White of Dalton, Jack and Pam Malone of Ringgold, Vick Worcester and Debbie Malone both of Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Malone and Terry and Joyce Malone all of Nebraska, William Malone and sister, Leona Haden both of Nebraska; grandchildren, Tammi Ebel, Jeremy Malone, Troy Malone, Megan Johnson, Jamie Malone, Bo Joyce, Amy Morris, Andrew Wood, Cayla Moss, Austin Vinson, Kelly Melbourne and Shelly Blair; great-grandchildren, Griffen Ebel, Hannah Ebel, Trent Malone, Addison Malone, Abree Malone, Levi Johnson, Landon Malone, Timothy Morris, Ethan Joyce, Megan Morris, Jake Morris, Tyler Tucker, Corey Tucker, Kendal Tucker and Cassey Tucker; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Christ the King Lutheran Church with Dr. John P. Rossing officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
