Herbert Quarles

Mr. Herbert S. Quarles, 84, of Dalton passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013.
He was the son of the late James Robert Quarles and Mary Ella Hensley Quarles and was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.
Herbert was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church where he loved his Sunday School Class. He was a longtime salesman for Dorsey Buick Olds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dolores Wrinkle Quarles of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine Bennett, Becky and Terry Worthington, and Sandi and Phillip Smith all of Dalton; grandchildren and spouses, Mandy and Greg Broome of Dalton, and Jeremy and Nikki Blackwell of Woodstock; great-grandchildren, Cody Broome, Jasmine Broome and Carson Broome; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 12 to 2 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Ga. Chapter, 922 E. Morris St, Dalton, Ga. 30721.
