Ruth Sane Land

Mrs. Ruth Sane Land, 85, of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at her daughters residence.
She was the daughter of the late, William and Noda Bridges Sane and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Arvil Land; sisters, Marie Sane, Lesley Jennings, Thelma Duncan, Vedie Duncan and Maude Baggett; brothers, Troy Sane and Lester Sane. Ruth was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Georgie Smith, Temie and Oliver Pierce, Jeanette and Jerry Warnix; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Land all of Dalton; sister, Claudell Baggett of Dalton; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.,
Services will be Sunday at 2 P.M. from Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Staten and the Rev. Woody Woodfin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday after 5 P. M.
