Allison Mayfield Nichols

Mrs. Allison Mayfield Nichols, 78, of Austin, Texas and formerly of Dalton, passed away, Friday, May 2, 2008.
She was the daughter of the late, Dell and Marianna Mayfield and was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Deborah Nichols and her grandson, Bryant Nichols.
Allison spent most of her life in Texas and she was an executive with the Girl Scouts of America.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Nichols and grandson, Dalton Nichols; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Mayfield Burnett and Don of Dacula, GA. and Betty Mayfield Ewing of Signal Mountain, TN.; brothers and sister-in-law, Bob Mayfield of Chico, CA., Dick and Pat Mayfield of Monroe, GA.; nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Crestview United Methodist Church at 10 A.M.
