Mr. Floyd “Pat” Hill Patterson, 90, of Dalton, passed away Friday, May 23, 2008 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, Thomas and Dorothy Hill Patterson and was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl D. Barnard Patterson of Bury St. Edmonds, England.
He was a veteran of World War II, as well as a member of the local Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church and a long time member of the community.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Cecile Kirby Patterson of Dalton; sister, Wylene Patterson of Redwood City, CA.; son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Angela Patterson of Dalton; grandchildren, Jonathan, Seth, Naomi and Leah Patterson of Dalton, granddaughter and husband, Allison and Sean Stauffer of Titusville, FL.; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Rankin and Gage Stauffer of Titusville, FL.; step-daughter and husband, Kaye and Robert Wiley of Leesville, SC.; step-daughter and husband, Melinda and Michael Zarate of Lexington, NC. and their children and grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. from the First United Methodist Church of Dalton.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church Tuesday from 10 until the funeral hour at 11 A.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Dalton, P.O. Box 627, Dalton, Ga. 30722.
