Charlene Phillips

Mrs. Charlene Phillips, 71, of Anderson, Indiana, and formerly of Dalton, passed away Sunday October 20, 2013 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Lloyd Phillips, Sr. and Gladys Jones Phillips and was preceded in death by her sisters, Faye Phillips, Wanda Lance and Brenda Lands; brother, Lloyd Phillips, Jr.
Charlene was a life time member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David L. Phillips, Sr. and Jackie of Anderson; sister, Glenda Lyons of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Jamie Lane, David L. Phillips. II, Bridget Carann Phillips-Passmore and Brena Lasley; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday from Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Pratt Hughes officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m.
