"You are judged not by what you do, but by what you do for others."
A very special lady, Mrs. Elminia Beach Wimpey, gave up this life on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her pretty little room at Regency Park in Dalton, Georgia. We will miss her more than she will ever know; however, we know that she will be missed by many. She shared her love and joy with her family and friends for 91 years, and she touched many lives in those years. She will be remembered as a spirited lady who loved to have fun and make jokes. One of her favorite things to do was spend time in her garden. She also like to travel with her grandaughters Darlene and Cindy and their mother. They spent many hours together at the beach and in the mountains. Mostly, she spent her life providing for her children, grand children, great-grand children, her friends, and anyone else that needed her. She outlived four husbands. She had three sons who she greatly loved and was a devoted mother: Bobby McHan, Paul Dewayne Martin, and the late Ray Ball. She shared her home of 37 years with Ray and his wife Charlene. Much of her time was shared with her grandchildren: Cindy Dobbins, Darlene Tallent, Robin Smithey, Karen Bramlett, Tony McHan, Belinda Pangle, Chad Martin, Tyler Martin, Sammy Ball, and Jeannie Ball. After she retired from Queen Carpet, she took care of some of her great-grand children and provided a summer Camp Grandma. They had many fun times: Julie Baliles, Christopher Tallent, Jennifer Tallent, Andrea Mansfield, Zane Dobbins, and Mary Beth Dobbins. Other great-grand childen and great-great grand children loved by Mimma are Brittany Ball, Trey Carson, Nancy Roberts, Niki Fort, Chloe Hightower, Preston Pangle, Trevor Martin, Zaelyn Bowman, Waelyn Baliles, Porter Tallent, Robby Petty, Kyesha Williams, Brandon Headrick and Adam Headrick. Please keep us in your prayers along with our spouses: Darrell Dobbins, Chris Tallent, Martha Martin, Cindy McHan, Mike Smithey, Todd Pangle, Ben Baliles, Clista Tallent, Aaron Mansfield, Tina Ball, Janet Ball and Tina Kimble. She loved us all dearly as we did her.
We will always remember our Mimma saying that "if you don't use it, you will lose it"---So stay active and have fun!
