Faye Guess Martin

Mrs. Faye Guess Martin, 83, of Rocky Face, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008. She was the daughter of the late, Mike and Leah Owen Guess and was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Moore and Otis Martin; brothers, Jack Guess and Tommy Guess; sister, Iris Hartley; brother-in-law, Clint J. Newton.
Faye was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Brenda Faye Newton of Tunnel Hill, Kaye Moore of Rocky Face, Vickie and Gary Greene of Rocky Face, David and Virginia Martin of Rocky Face, Don and Kathy Martin of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Gwen Penley, Christine Stone both of Oakman, GA., Pheobe and Mack Sullivan of Mississippi; brother and sister-in-law, Max and Dianne Guess of Oakman; special sister-in-law, Ruth Guess of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Cindy Runion, Sandy O’briant, Matt Greene and Wayne Cochran; greatgrandchildren, Tyler Sissom, Ali Sissom and Robyn Runion; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Darey Kittle and the Rev. James Davenport officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 9 P.M.
