Norene Boring

Mrs. Norene Elaine Boring, 86, of Dalton passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Paul and C. Elaine Smith and was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Smith.
Norene was a registered nurse and a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church. She was a long standing member of the “Sounds of Joy”, a non denonminational choir for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Leila Pike of Auburn, WA and first cousin, Pat Balk of Springdale, AK.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 to 2 P.M.
Norene’s wish was that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to the Northwest Georgia Womens Crisis Center, P.O. Box 554, Dalton, Ga. 30722-0554.
