Billye Cook

Mrs. Billye Cook, 80, of Dalton passed Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was born November 12, 1933, daughter of the late Louis and Thelis Daigle and was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Preston Daigle, Irene Arceneaux, Iris Daigle and Berlin Daigle.
She was a veteran of the United States Army where she was a telephone operator and was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Billye is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William “Bill” Cook of Dalton; children, Dajuana and Tony DeMarco of Alexandria, LA, Melissa Whitley of San Diego, CA, Scott Arceneaux and William “Butch” Cook and Carol all of Dalton; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Scripture Wake Service will be Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Father Paul D. Williams Jr. offciating.
Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday after 4 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Elks National Foundation, 2750 North Lakeview Ave, Chicago, IL. 60614-2256.
