John Raymond Painter

Mr. John Raymond Painter, 63, of Chattanooga and formerly Dalton passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death his father, Ed Painter of Dalton.
John is survived by his loving wife, Susan Z. Painter and son, Matthew L. Painter both of Chattanooga; daughter, Carmen Angles Ekdahl of Atlanta; son, Levi A. Purvis of Cumming, GA; mother, Pat Painter Smith of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Kwon Painter of Dalton and Joey and Kathleen Painter of Hiawassee, GA; grandchildren, Shay Brewer of Atlanta and Caylee Tolbert of Cartersville; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Susan and Juan Lama of Dalton, Joe and Jessica Painter of Blue Ridge, GA; other very special great nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 to 3 P.M.
